A wine with ripe lime aromas and a soft more-ish palate. The mid-palate is juicy and rounded, and there's a touch of sweetness on the finish, balanced by a long line of acidity.
Moores Hill aims to preserve the trademark intense varietal characteristic of Tamar Riesling by balancing the natural acidity and fruit character of this wine. Long, cool ripening maintains the powerful natural acidity of the variety while allowing us to achieve full ripeness. Cold, slow and clean stainless steel fermentation preserves aromatics. Bottled early to capture aromatics this wine is fabulous drunk young and cold on a summer’s day however will reward careful cellaring.
