The vineyards are situated at 100-300 meters above sea level in the hills outside Verona in the Soave area and are south/south- east facing. The soil is made of marl and limestone so the vines are put under stress, which helps to produce superior quality fruit. The vines are 20-30 years old on average. They are trained using both the traditional Pergola Veronese method and Guyot. Cool breezes blow down the valley from the foothills of the Dolomites, which moderates the climate, enabling the grapes to ripen slowly. This helps the grapes to retain their aromatic compounds and acidity.
This is wine is golden in colour, with clean, bright aromas of almond blossom and herbal notes. With fresh acidity, the palate is ripe and concentrated, full of apple and pear flavours. The finish is lively and crisp with a rich minerality.
